Outer Courtyard

In front of main Sivalingam in the Dwajasthambam (the flag mast) and the Bali peetam (Altar) have been erected.
The Devotees stay for a minute praying God for their purification. Then the devotees enter the halls of Sanctum Sanctorum.
Nandhi (Bull) which is symbolic of soul is set stead fastly looking at the Lord.
After worshipping Nandhi, the devotees bowing in reverance before Lord in the form of Lingam, go around the inner circle.(Prakara)

Inner Circuit (Prakara)

In the inner Circuit the devotees worship the following deities.
The beautiful Nataraja (Siva in the pose of Cosmic dance)
Durga (aspect of Sakthi)
Brahma (God of Creation)
Vishnu (God of Protection)
Lingothbava (Symbol of Supreme above Brahma and Vishnu)
Dakshinamoorthy (Siva as yogic teacher)
Ganesha (Symbal of mystic symbol "OM")
