PRESIDING DEITY

Arulmigu Kapaleeswarar is the presiding deity.

At the time of "Pralaya" ie. the dissolution of cosmos the whole univierse collapsed. Lord siva alone exists and none besides him.

He with his ascetic's Bowl of Skull (Kapala) starts creation of the Universe again.

He is OMNIPOTENT and OMNIPRESENT.
